Maybe $2.50 at most. They look pretty good, but $4 is pushing it. There are a couple food trucks here that have awesome tacos. As good as they are though, I don't think they would be worth air fare and transportation here. $300+ for a taco kind of raises the expectations.

I’m 100% Italian and you are talking about some of my family. Never been to Italy, but they think it’s the best country in the world besides America. Been there twice and got robbed three times. My cousin eats spaghetti with no meat 6 nights a week to save money. I couldn’t be more disgusted

The Beef game has really raised the bar, there are 8-9 places on the N.Shore that are all amazing. Such subtle differences. Modern Butcher-Danvers is the top dog. Londis, Atha's, Bellas's Pete's, Zeno's, Tessi's, Anthony's to name a few are all excellent.

Thailand does heat pretty well. I learned very quickly eating there, what was labeled moderate or mild, would be medium-hot here. I loved Thailand, except it was a little too humid for me and the couple snakes I saw were f-ing huge. I could never live there. Those things get in people's houses. I'd have to burn my house down if one ever got in. I do love Thai food though.
